With this request for information, HUS launches a market consultation to prepare a procurement. The aim of this prior information notice is to find suppliers operating in this field of business, get information of the solutions available in the market, and inform our plans and requirements for the forthcoming procurement. SUBJECT OF PROCUREMENT The subject of procurement is radioactive products used in brachytherapy for treatment of epibulbar and intraocular tumors. The procurement includes Iodine-125 (I-125) brachytherapy seeds (activity approx. 500-600 MBq per seed), Ruthenium-106 (Ru-106) eye plaques/applicators, and accessories used in plaque positioning and treatment planning (e.g. dummy plaques/plaque templates). The respondents are asked to provide information on the following questions: - Which I-125 brachytherapy seeds, Ru-106 eye plaques/applicators, and related accessories are included in your current product portfolio? - What are typical delivery times for these products? - Please indicate available options related to accessories/equipment for plaque sterilization, transport, and storage; quality assurance (measurements carried out locally for wipe test samples, depth dose curves, etc.); treatment planning systems (software, training, user support, etc.), if any. - Any other comments, observations, or information that may be relevant for the preparation of the procurement.
